Meizu M8 miniOne

The Meizu M8, sometimes also called Mini One is an upcoming mobile phone to be produced by the Chinese MP3 player manufacturer MEIZU Electronic Technology.

The M8 has received a great amount of hype, not least from the fact that the new product renders features a design reminding very much of the Apple iPhone. Something online news sources often miss to mention is that the iPhone look-alike is only one of many concept renderings of the Meizu M8. And as it is set to be released in the third or fourth quarter this year, there will surely be room for change.

During the first quarter of year 2007, Meizu released a lot of different product renderings (which you can see more of in Meizu M8 pictures) through their bulletin boards. Shortly after, the guys at their largest international fan site Meizu Me picked the news up and from there; the news has spread like wildfire, getting featured on the most popular technology websites such as Engadget and Gizmodo.

As of now, the Meizu M8 has attracted a lot of attention online, and has even made its way to traditional media (newspapers). Surprisingly, the attention has been more positive than negative. Mostly, people praise the great price for the great specifications. As a result, the M8 has become a highly anticipated product.
